Meet Scott Heckert. Following an exciting and gratifying 20-year career as a Communications Officer in the US Marines, Scott had the chance to work with IW Founder Jared Shepard and other members of Intelligent Waves in a previous position. He was so impressed with the culture and camaraderie that he joined the IW team back in December 2016. His current role is IT Special Projects Leader at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) where he engages with both internal and external customers to ensure all IT needs are being met. There is no typical day in Scott’s world, as it depends on the customer’s requirements or troubleshooting needs, but in the end, it’s all about providing solutions and “getting the job done”!
In his free time, Scott is an avid snow skier and is especially fond of hitting the slopes in Breckenridge, CO. It’s great to have you on the IW Team!
