The SOF community and DoD need wireless communications in all operating environments and the advantage of its flexibility. However, current secure Wi-Fi solutions can incur high manpower costs and bring significant security risks to our classified systems if implemented incorrectly. LiFi addresses an urgent need for a simple way to enable an increasingly mobile workforce while providing the security necessary to ensure sensitive systems remain secure. Our adversaries are adapting without limitations and utilizing state-of-the-art technologies without constrained oversight. The United States military, the world’s premier fighting force, must adapt and evolve in the same manner, if not faster, to retain the technological advantage and enable our forces to develop creative solutions to problems.
