Mr. Rob Franklin brings to Intelligent Waves’ Board of Advisors over 25 years of vision and direction to drive operational maturity and efficiency, improve quality, and expand market share. Franklin is an entrepreneur, investor and business advisor whose focus is helping other businesses reach their success potential. He is a stakeholder in several early-stage businesses and serves in an advisory capacity for a variety of start-up firms dealing with the issues associated with launch, growth and scaling.

Rob is the managing member of several companies focused on private equity investing and is a co-founder of GoodSeeker, Inc., a start-up company that is developing an enterprise story-sharing platform for generating authentic corporate and personal brand content. Most recently, Rob served as a strategic advisor and member of the Board of Directors for MorganFranklin Consulting. Rob has served on multiple board committees and helped direct the company through an ESOP transaction and the sale of the firm to Olympus/Vaco in 2019.

Since co-founding MorganFranklin in 1998, Rob has held various executive positions to include President, COO, and CIO, playing a strategic role in building the business from a start-up to a market-leading services firm with over $100M in revenues. Prior to founding MorganFranklin, Rob spent 10 years as a senior program and systems engineer with the Department of the Navy where he developed and deployed strategic and tactical secure communications systems for a variety of specialized U.S. government agencies.

As an active member of the community, Rob is an avid supporter of the American Heart Association and currently serves as a member of the Eastern States Region and Greater Washington Region boards. Rob has also served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the Chairman’s Award for Outstanding Service for his role in launching the organization’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship thought leadership council.

Rob holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Florida Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Widener University.
